What does a doula do?
A doula provides judgement-free emotional and informational support during your pregnancy, labor & birth, and after your baby is born. Doulas work for YOU and not your health care provider or other agency. This means that they have your back and care for you in a truly judgement-free capacity. Doulas work alongside your midwife or doctor to support you through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. |
