​I am immensely privileged to be going into my 14th year as a Full Spectrum Doula and Childbirth Educator here in the beautiful traditional territory of the Quw'utsun nation.

When I am not supporting expecting parents through their pregnancies and births, I can usually be found snuggling a new little one while their parents catch up on sleep, or running errands with new big siblings.

I absolutely LOVE exploring this wonderful Island with my furry sidekick Skutz, followed by a hot cup of strongly brewed black tea and my Kindle.

Kaya is one of the Valley’s most experienced doulas, offering clients exceptional support during their transition into parenthood. A variety of doula care packages and prenatal education options are available to families receiving care from midwives or doctors.

​Inclusive of all birthing and parenting options, clients receive the educational, physical, and emotional support to make choices that work for them in their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

​Services include continuous birth support, overnight baby care, sibling care during birth, as well as private and group prenatal classes. Clients receive compassionate care without judgement so that their transition may be full of love, strength, and empowerment.
